The Present work relates to a cultural study of the Atharvaveda. This Veda is an ocean of practical wisdom and it contains vivid description of social customs. Cultural traditions, medical science, astronomy and philosophy of the vedic era. The book is an analytical and critical study of this Veda. The book has been divided into 10 chapters wherein subjects like geography, social life, economic cordition, education along with various branches of learning, social beliefs; religion and philosophy, politics and polity etc. have been dealt with succinctly.

सांस्कृतिक दृष्टि से अथर्ववेद अत्यन्त महत्त्वपूर्ण ग्रन्थ है । अथर्ववेद में संस्कृति का विशद वर्णन प्राप्त होता है । इस शोध-ग्रन्थ में अथर्ववेद के सांस्कृतिक तत्त्वों का विशद और वैज्ञानिक विवेचन प्रस्तुत किया गया है। इसमें वेदों का महत्त्व, अथर्ववेद में प्राप्त भौगोलिक स्थिति, सामाजिक जीवन, आर्थिक स्थिति, शिक्षा और विविध विद्याएँ, धर्म, अभिचार कर्म और लौकिक मान्यताएँ, दर्शन, राजनीति और शासन-व्यवस्थाआदि पर विशद और वैज्ञानिक दृष्टिकोण से विवेचन प्रस्तुत किया गया है ।
